While reservations aren't required, it ensures the availability of your trips and guarantees that any site, lodging, or floating device isn't booked up when you arrive. Making reservations also make check-ins easier for both your group and our staff. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.
Our season officially starts Memorial Day weekend.
You must inform us at least 14 days prior to your arrival date any changes or cancellations to receive a refund, less a $25 service charge. Any cancellations or changes made less than 14 days of your arrival date will result in the full amount forfeited.
Dogs are allowed at the discretion of the office and must be kept on a leash and under control at all times. You may not leave dogs unattended at any time for any reason. No dogs or pets are permitted in the rafts. Additionally, if you have a dog and you are staying lodging, please notify the office.

Yes! We have 3 bath houses throughout the campground that have quarter-operated showers.
To make a reservation, yes. If you would like to make a reservation, a deposit of half the total amount is required. There is also a partially refundable $100 dog deposit for any lodging you plan on having dogs in. If there is excessive dog hair or damage to lodging, we will not do a dog deposit refund.
To make a reservation you can call us at 573-775-2410 or make a reservation through our website under "book now" tab. A deposit of half the total amount owed will be due to make the reservation if it is more than 14 days prior your arrival date. If it is after the 14 days, the full amount is due to secure your reservation.
The 6-mile float is put in at Bird's Nest Public Access. The 9-mile float puts in at the Fishing Springs . The 10-mile float puts in here at the campground.
The 6-mile and 9-mile floats end at the campground next to the riverside tents sites and the diner. The 10-mile float starts at our campground and ends at our scenic view take out point.
If you have reserved a float through us and have reservations for one of our floating devices, then transportation is included. If there are additional people who need personal kayak/canoe shuttles there is an additional fee. If there are additional people riding the bus and do not need boat transportation, it is an additional $10 per person.
Yes, but they will have to be completely deflated on the bus and you will have to have a way to air them up at the put-in location. If you are not using them for coolers, you will be required to pay a shuttle fee of $10 per person.
Yes! It is open from 10am to 8pm and is free to anyone staying with us. If you are not staying with us and still wish to use the pool, a day pass is available for purchase in the office. Please note that there is a chance the pool could be closed due to maintenance at any time.
We float the upper Meramec River.
We have a volleyball net, basketball goal, sports balls you can borrow, a pool, and river access 7 days a week. We also have karaoke on Friday and Saturday night that starts at 7pm and ends at 11pm.
